Two Sweet Springs Residents Injured in Saline County Crash
Two Sweet Springs residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday morning in Saline County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2006 Chevy Suburban driven by 45-year-old Tisha L. Summers of Marshall, was on Missouri 41 at Route AD (south of Miami) around 11:40 a.m., when Summers attempted to make a turn and was struck from behind by a northbound 2017 Nissan Sentra, driven by 33-year-old Lacrissa M. Garrison of Sweet Springs.

Garrison and her passenger, a 12-year-old female, suffered minor injuries, and were transported by Saline County EMS to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment.
The Nissan had extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
