Off Kilter Christmas Songs: The Killers “Don’t Shoot Me, Santa”

I'm sure you know The Killers, or at least you've heard one of their songs on our station before.  They've had a ton of hits like "Mr Brightside", "Somebody Told Me", "Human", "When You Were Young", "Shot At The Night", etc.  They've been around for about ten years or so now, give or take.

They've never been too big on taking themselves very seriously, and that's definitely evidenced here in their 2007 Christmas song, "Don't Shoot Me, Santa".

The plot of the song and video is that our protagonist has been bullied by kids on the block, and he got revenge...but Santa is here to even the score.  Admittedly, it's a dirty, somewhat crazy Santa, but I guess that happens when you spend too much time in the desert.

This one will definitely turn some heads on your Christmas playlist!
