Today's Lost 70s at 7, brought to you by Dickie Doo Bar B Que,  is a nod to the Fall TV season lineup. I watched Neil Patrick Harris' new show Best Night Ever on NBC. The premiere of this show was last week and I finally got around to see what this show was about. Basically, Harris brings non stop comedy, fun and high jinx to the crowd throughout the show. In one segment he did a karaoke contest, in which viewers at home had to fill in the blank of a song and could win a $1,000 prize if they got it right from the original words.

The guest karaoke artist was Gloria Gaynor with 'I Will Survive' for the game. It is hard to believe that this song came out in the late 70s. The song is still popular today, used in several movies such as Rio 2 and Meet The Spartans in recent years.

The way the audience sang along, it is obvious it is well loved and Gaynor seemed to enjoy being on stage and television for this bit. Gaynor still appears on the road and is far from done performing this song.

Congratulations to Dennis Thornton for being caller #7, during the Lost 70s at 7. Thornton won a $15 certificate to Dickie Doo.
