On a beautiful sunny, fairly warm Tuesday, the Sacred Heart boys golf team traveled to Triple Creek for the Cole Camp Quad, consisting of Windsor, Lincoln, Cole Camp and Sacred Heart.

The day was riddled with highs and lows, with the team placing third with a score of 185 behind Cole Camp with 150 and Windsor at 179.

Senior Luke Jenkins led the gremlins and pulled in fourth place by shooting a 41 which included a birdie and several pars. Zander Jackson recovered from a shaky start to card a 47 and Grant Goodwin had a one-birdie round for 49.

Spencer Aeschbacher had a couple of very challenging holes and finished the round at 53. Sophomore Thomas Jenkins had a respectable round of 54, followed by Tyler Twitter with a solid 55. Caleb Schaffer finished the day with a 56.

Closing it out for the Gremlins Cole Camp tour, Austin Perez fired a 64 and James Russell finished the day with a 65.

The boys will have a much-needed rest this Easter weekend and be ready for three matches next week.
