I went to get a haircut Tuesday (thanks Ashley), and while she was clipping away, she asked about my love for Trampled Under Foot.  She asked if they were really that good, and it dawned on me that there are people who have never seen them live.  Some people would say they don't like the blues, even though all American music comes from the blues.  So the way I see it, people just don't know what modern day blues are.  So let me give you some people to listen to.  Gary Clark Jr., Tedeschi Trucks Band, Joe Bonamassa just to get you started.

Now back to the original question: yes, they are that good.  By the way, "Trampled Under Foot" is a Led Zeppelin song, so that should also give you a idea about the kind of music you would hear.

But I make no apologies, they are a blues band and as far as I'm concerned.  They are my favorite band period! The band is made up of three siblings: Chris, the drummer, Nick a magnificent guitar player and vocals, and of course, Danielle on bass and vocals.  If you listen to my radio show, you know I reference them a lot, especially Danielle. I have said I'd like to take her home with me.  Not to do anything bad, I just want to sit her on my mantel and let her sing to me every night.

So this is my personal invitation to you to come see them Friday night (Mar. 29) at Dickie Doo, and tell me I'm wrong.  I'll see you there.

Oh, by the way, if Danielle is singing, shhhhh, I don't wanna talk!
