Welcome Harper Mruk, New Executive Director for the Boys and Girls Club in Sedalia [INTERVIEW]

Harper Mruk has joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri as its new executive director. Mruk comes to the Club from the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tri-County Area in Berlin, Wis. where she’s been the Center Director since 2008.She's very excited about Sedalia and the kids here.  The programs are helping the kids show all of their true colors, and Harper's here to help those colors shine. I got to talk with Harper about what she's enjoying about the new gig, Sedalia itself and what she's looking forward to this year.

Make sure you mark your calendars now for their GLOW 5K Run/Walk on June 13.  Join them on the State Fair Community College campus and "Glow Your Support" of the youth programs of the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri! They have several different categories for participants this year.  Cost to register is $25 (plus processing fees) and includes a T-shirt. Race day registration is $30.
