You can say this for Lindsay Lohan: Homegirl just does not quit. The sometime-actress, who hasn’t appeared in a film since Gus Van Sant’s 2013 quasi-softcore-thriller The Canyons (was it really only three years ago?), has tried her hand at a few failed enterprises in the last few years, including her recent baffling effort to create a new, vaguely exotic accent. But there’s one project Lohan hasn’t abandoned. Like Gretchen Wieners desperately clinging to “fetch,” Lohan is hellbent on making Mean Girls 2 happen — by force, if necessary.

It might surprise you to learn that Amy Poehler had never won an Emmy before last night, but less so that she’d make history doing it. Ahead of the full ceremony next Sunday, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey both took home Emmy awards for their SNL hosting, and made history in the process.

Last years Oscars host Neil Patrick Harris said almost immediately after the broadcast that he “doubted” he would ever do it again, explaining, “I don’t know that my family nor my soul could take it.” Which, of course, meant that the search for a replacement was on almost immediately. But, if you’re looking for just one person, you may be barking up the wrong tree. This year’s Oscars producers say “there will be multiple hosts for sure.”

If there’s one movie you’re excited about on December 18 this year it’s...probably Star Wars: The Force Awakens. But, if there are two movies you’re excited about on December 18, the other one is definitely Sisters, starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. The former SNL co-stars and Golden Globes hosts reteam for this only comedy bold enough to take on Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, and we’ve got the first trailer for you.

Besides a funny opening monologue, the 2015 Golden Globes were kinda...boring? Which is weird, because the Golden Globes are supposed to be a lot of things, but boring isn't one of them. Their entire existence is pretty much to be the boozy, irreverent cousin to the Oscars. But, next year hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler won't be back to host (their three-year contract ended this year) and based on this awards presentation, we think they should give Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader a chance.

Having killed it with their Golden Globes hosting duties for the last two years, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler once again turned out some memorable jokes. Whoever is in charge of scheduling over at Disney (we imagine it's many people, but just go with it) is going to be in a lot of trouble when they realize that they've put their next 'Star Wars' movie up against 'The Nest,' an adult comedy starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. How do you even compete with that? You don't. Just pack it up now, J.J. Abrams. You're going to lose this box office battle.
