On Monday (March 25), the Sedalia School District 200 Board of Education approved the hiring of Janeil Draffen as seventh and eighth grade girls physical education teacher at Smith-Cotton Junior High for the 2014-15 school year. Draffen also will serve as head coach of the Smith-Cotton High School softball program.
Ryan Boyer has been named the new head football coach at Smith-Cotton High School. Boyer has been on the coaching staff at Smith-Cotton for the last five years. He served as the offensive coordinator and quarterback coach in the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
