Kids, we've been doing the album specials for a few weeks now.  We might even make it a weekly thing if stuff goes smoothly, so to speak.

I've been gone a few days.  I took a little vacation for some R&R, and it felt good.  However, when you get back to work, there is always a mound of work waiting for you.  Coming back this time was even worse than normal.  Let me explain:

This morning, I woke at my normal time around 3:30 a.m., got myself dressed and headed to work.  On my way, I decided I needed a cold drink and not coffee.  So I went through the drive-thru and got a soda. The girl handed my my drink and *BANG,* off popped the lid.

I didn't say much about this last week on the air, because I didn't want to seem like I was bragging, but I got a chance to go to London this past weekend!  I know I have talked about my athletic prowess before, but I don't think a lot of you believed me.  So here are some photos of me at the Olympics, It was a honor to represent our country...and many others as well...

This Friday night, Sedalia will get a rare opportunity to see one of the fastest rising stars on the blues scene. Samantha Fish will be at Dickie Doo BBQ starting at 8:30 p.m. Samantha just won the BMA for Newcomer of the Year, and if you have seen her live, you know what a great rockin’ show she puts on.
