You can add the Rolling Stones to the list of first-class rockers who are lending a hand in support of victims of Hurricane Sandy. The Stones join an already impressive list of rockers performing at the 12.12.12 Benefit concert being held at Madison Square Garden on Wed. Dec. 12.

Cliff Knickmeyer is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and currently a LaMonte police officer.  During a pursuit of a suspect, he noticed something wrong with his toe.  He assumed that it was injured in the chase.  When it didn't heal for a week, he visited his physician and found out blood clots in his leg were to blame and he would require surgery.

One music great will offer support for another when Stevie Nicks heads up the Elton John AIDS Foundation 11th Annual An Enduring Vision benefit show Oct. 15 in New York City.

The Great Lawn of New York’s Central Park will play host to a massive rock concert on Sept. 29, with the likes of Neil Young and Foo Fighters headlining. The Global Festival hopes to raise awareness and funds to end global poverty.
