Sedalia’s Weekend Events – Weekend of July 25

Here's a look at the events going on in our area this weekend. 

Come visit beautiful Truman Lake on July 26 for the Warsaw Area Kids Triathlon.

The event will be held at the Warsaw City Pool, 1009 West Jackson.  Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. and continue til 8:30 a.m., with the race beginning at 9:00 a.m. sharp.  Online registration and event details are available at www.splitmastertiming.com  Contact Willie Salley at 660-596-5769 or email wsalley65@gmail.com for more information.

The Applewood Christian School, along with McCarthy Toyota, will have a Car Wash.

It’ll take place on July 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Stop by and have your dirty car washed by the students of Applewood Christian School.  All funds will be used to help the students on a trip to Boston as a part of their American History class.

A Jefferson School reunion is planned for Saturday, July 26. 

It’ll be held at Centennial Park at 12 noon.  for anyone who attended Jefferson School and their guests.  Bring your own sack lunch and drink.  Cookies will be served for dessert.

The Lake Creek Camp Meeting will be held July 27 – August 3. 

Sunday morning services are at 9 a.m., evening service is at 7:30 p.m.  VBS will be held each morning from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.  All ages are welcome.    Go 6 miles south of Smithton on Hwy W to Lake Creek Road.  For more information, contact 660-826-9441.
