Sedalia Senior Center Ice Cream Social Coming Up

Who doesn't love ice cream? Other than the lactose intolerant and maybe communists, nobody!  And is there a human being that doesn't love a good chili dog?  Well, except for vegans.  And again.... those dirty commies probably don't like them, either.Well, that was confusing, wasn't it.  What I mean is, everybody likes ice cream,  and everybody likes a good hot dog..... even if it isn't that good for us.  It's good for the soul, if not the waistline.

So if you need an excuse to eat delicious ice cream, why not do it for a great cause?

I'VE GOT A GREAT EXCUSE FOR YOU TO EAT ICE CREAM!

Sunday, August 29 the Sedalia Senior Center will have an ice cream social from noon to 4:00 PM. The cost is $5.00 for hot dog or chili dog, chips, ice cream, cake or pie, and drinks.  All money raised from these events is used to support the home-delivered meals program for homebound Pettis County seniors.

You see how this is a win win for you and your taste buds?  You get a whole meal (did I mention the chili dog?) at a great price, delicious ice cream, and you know you're helping make sure the homebound of Pettis County still get their meals.

So there you have it.  Be there or be square!
