Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival Lineup Highlights: John Mayall

We're just a few short weeks away from the Roots N Blues Festival in Columbia.  Like I told you last week, I am going to write a few articles on some of the stars appearing there this year.  One of the artists that intrigues me the most is John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers. They are appearing Saturday after Trampled Under Foot and before Al Green.

If you don't know much about John Mayall, lets just say he's a LEGEND in the blues world.  They have had over 100 different lineup changes over the years, think about the people who have played with him:

• Peter Green
• Eric Clapton
• Mick Taylor (Rolling Stones)
• Walter Trout and Harvey Mandel, who left Canned Heat to join John Mayall
• Mick Fleetwood
• John McVie

The list goes on and on, and these are just some of the names I remember.
