Pet Sounds Special: Maroon 5

Kids, we're finally back up and running again on our Pet Sounds Album Special.

We had our poll for about a week and for a while, we were deadlocked in a tie.  But then, about yesterday we finally had a breakthrough.  With 37% of your vote, you chose Maroon 5's new album, 'Overexposed.'

We play a few of their songs on BOB FM, particularly in the evening.  They've had quite a few hits from it, including "Moves Like Jagger," "Payphone," "Daylight," and "One More Night."   It came out last year, and they chose the name because of lead singer Adam Levine's stature from 'The Voice.'  They decided to work with other producers than normal this time and brought a very commercial poppy sound this time. So, I hope you enjoy hearing from guitarist James Valentine tonight about all the different aspects of the album from the name, to the tour, to the success of their hit singles.
