I started in radio in January of 1975 in my hometown of Butler, MO. Off and on I’ve been behind a microphone, either at a radio station or in a nightclub. I’m married, have six kids, and nine grandkids. I love watching the Kansas City Royals and old western TV shows and movies. I enjoy working with everyone at the station and our parent company, Townsquare Media. I love doing my part to make it fun to listen to the radio.

Mosquitos Driving You Crazy This Summer? Maybe This Will Help
My favorite time of the year is Fall. I like the cooler air, the crisp mornings and usually, the freeze that helps to annihilate the mosquito population! With that being said I also like the Spring and Summer months because you can get outside and grill your favorite foods but the one thing I despise when outside during that time are mosquitos. We may have the answer to help you out if you're suffering through the same dilemma.

Is This Your Song/Group That You Crank Up When It Comes On the Radio?
I've been a DJ/radio host for quite a while. I started when I was a sophomore in high school and that was when we had to walk up hill five miles in the snow one way to get there, and don't get me started on what we had to do to make it home after school! So I know a few things about cranking up a song on the radio!
Smarter Than a Morning Radio Host? See If You Know These!
What we're talking about today is the slogans on license plates for all the states. Now being in Missouri we all know that it is the Show-Me State, but outside of Missouri are you familiar with the other states' slogans? I started going through the list and I know quite a few of them but some I had had no idea what their slogan was on the plate.
Just Upgraded My Phone, Now What to Do With the Old One?
If you're like me, you've upgraded your phone at least a couple of times, if not more. Now the question is what do I do with the old phone? Do I just throw it in a drawer and let it die a slow death, bury it in the cell phone graveyard or is there something I can do sell it, and possibly make some money off of it?
New COVID-19 Cases in Missouri Currently Highest in the U.S.
You always like to be recognized but this is one time I don't think health officials in the Show-Me State would like to see their state at the top of the list. According to a New York Times analysis, Missouri has the highest rate of new COVID-19 cases in the United States.
Who Knew Making a Prison Break in MO Could be This Challenging?
So you're sitting in a prison in Missouri and you're trying to get out. You've come up with a way to make a dash and ultimately you could see daylight outside the prison walls. Sound like a new plot for a made-for-TV movie? Nope, it's what's going in Jefferson for Prison Break 2021 at the MO State Penitentiary.
Chiefs’ Travis Kelce Now Thinks You Should Get Vaccinated for COVID-19
We all have our own opinions on being vaccinated for COVID-19. Some have been for it from the very beginning, some were adamant about not getting the vaccine, and others seem to be changing their mind as time rolls on. One that has changed his perspective is Kansas City Chiefs' TE Travis Kelce.
Fireworks Were a No-Go Last Year, But This Year Should Be a Bang!
One of the big letdowns last year during the coronavirus pandemic was the fact that most did not have the opportunity to get outside and celebrate the 4th of July like you would during a normal year. This year it looks like the "normal" part is making it's way back!
