Today's look back takes us back to 1999, when Tom Jones made history and hit #1 on the UK Album Chart with 'Reload', which at the age of 59, made him the oldest artist to score a British chart topping album with new material.

I have liked Tom Jones for a long time with his songs 'She's a Lady', 'Deliah', 'What's New Pussycat' and 'It's Not Unusual.' These are probably his more famous songs, plus I sincerely loved his appearance in 'Mars Attacks.' Mars Attacks came out in 1996 and may be responsible for his resurgance and also bringing his music to a new generation.

Reloaded featured duets with the likes of Van Morrison, The Pretenders, The Cardigans and Natalie Imbruglia just to name a few. Reload never caught on very well in the United States, like it did in the U.K.

Jones is now 74-years-old and still plays and I can only hope when I'm in my 70s that I can be out and about. Jones is even going to have a chance to honor the great Bob Dylan as the 2015 MusiCares Person of the Year on Feb. 6.

One of the songs from 'Reload' is 'Burning Down The House,' which you may remember from the Talking Heads, but here is Tom Jones with the Cardigans.
