It is no big secret that I'm a big Pink Floyd fan and today (Oct. 29) is a big historical note for the band. In 1983, Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" became the longest-running album on the "Billboard" music charts, with a total of 491 weeks.

The Dark Side of the Moon is considered to be one of the greatest albums of all time in a lot of circles. The biggest songs from the album included 'Time' and 'Money.' While these are the most recognized songs, I am more partial to 'Us and Them.'

Us and Them was done by Richard Wright and that to me brings it's unique sound and message. Roger Waters and David Gilmour did the vast majority of the Pink Floyd songs, but Wright started this song and is credited with it.

I think what is telling about the Dark Side of the Moon is that I already mentioned in 1983, it hit 491 weeks in a row, but the album still charts today after over 40 years, since it came out.

It did get a great big breath of fresh air when the whole matching of 'Wizard of Oz' and 'Dark Side of the Moon' came about. I don't know who came up with it, but it is pretty unique to watch the movie with 'Dark Side of the Moon.' That whole conspiracy apparently was coincidence, but it gave both new life in the early 2000s.

If you don't hear from me for the next hour or so, it's because I'm listening to the album.

What is your favorite Pink Floyd song from Dark Side of the Moon?
