JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.— As the heat of summer fades into the cool weather of fall, trees and shrubs around the Show-Me State transform from leaves of green to a fall-foliage color palette of golds, reds, oranges, and purples. The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) encourages people to discover nature through fall-color excursions.

The kids were very busy this summer if they took advantage of all the programs and festivities that the Sedalia Parks and Recreation set up. And now, in the fall, with them being back in school - they still wanna have fun.
With Labor Day just over a week away, it's time to face the facts-- summer is coming to an end way too soon. But even though we won't be able to wipe out on Slip n' Slides too much longer, there are still tons of awesome things we can look foward to in the Fall, and apparently dogs are so ready for it.
After a two-year break, the Black Crowes are once again soaring. In March, the band broke its hiatus with the Lay Down With Number 13 tour, which included sold-out dates in the U.K., a few festival gigs and a spot opening for a couple of Bruce Springsteen's stadium concerts.
