Doug and I were talking about reruns, retreads, you know, the same ol' crap on television. I admit it, I am a television junkie, and one of the greatest inventions ever is the DVR.  I enjoy spending a Saturday getting caught up on shows I missed all week.

With the London Olympics winding down after his tremendous (if underpaid) performance, former Beatles legend Paul McCartney is bringing his Feb. 9 performance of his 2012 album ‘Kisses On The Bottom’ at Capitol Studios to PBS. The special will air Sept. 7 on PBS’ ‘Great Performances.’

Bruce Springsteen has certainly made the most of touring in Europe this summer, but “The Boss” will be back in the good ol’ U.S. of A. this fall.

A bus driver became a hero on Monday when he caught a seven-year-old autistic girl in his arms after she fell three stories from a building in New York City. The remarkable rescue was caught on tape.
