You’re Most Likely to Drink Wine at 6:53 P.M. on a Wednesday

According to a new survey, the time of the week when you're most likely to drink wine is . . . 6:53 P.M. on a Wednesday.  Also, people slightly prefer red wine over white wine . . . and are more likely to drink wine at home than at a restaurant or bar.

I know that a lot of us felt like we needed a drink after this crazy election!  Personally, I'm most likely to drink wine whenever someone is willing to put a box of it down in front of me.  Other people apparently have more predictable wine drinking habits.

According to a new survey, the average person is most likely to drink wine at . . . 6:53 P.M. on Wednesday.

The survey found people are JUST slightly more likely to drink red wine than white wine.  Red got 37% of the vote, white got 36%.  Rosé got 20%, and sparkling wine and champagne got 6%.

People are most likely to drink wine with a meal, and more likely to drink it at home than at a restaurant or a bar. I'm most likely to drink it by the quart.
