Just in time for Halloween, there's a new survey out on PARANORMAL ACTIVITY. And apparently more than half of us believe in GHOSTS.

The old cliché is that people who claim to see UFOs are weirdoes, lonely, or just bored with their lives.  If that's true, one-third of the people in this country really need to make friends and take up adrenaline sports.

According to a new survey by Huffington Post, a HUGE number of people in the U.S. believe in ghosts and UFOs . . . and a solid THIRD of us think we've seen one or the other.  Check out these stats . . .

61% of people believe in ghosts.

32% of people say they've PERSONALLY witnessed something paranormal . . . either from a ghost, a UFO, or another unexplainable phenomenon.

Women are more likely than men to say they've experienced something paranormal . . . and white people are more likely than black or Hispanic people.  And people without high school diplomas are twice as likely as people who have postgraduate degrees.

Which I guess is going to be helpful for this crazy story I read: A man in Colfax, Louisiana, asked police to arrest the ghosts inside his home.

According to a press release from the Grant Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies got a call about a man wearing only a bath towel walking in his yard, carrying a large knife and talking to trees. Corporal Blake Arrant responded to the call and found David Maxwell, 26, on his front porch.

Maxwell told Cpl. Arrant there were people in the tops of the trees and ghosts inside of his house. He asked Arrant to arrest the ghosts inside his home. Arrant figured out that Maxwell was under the influence of drugs (SHOCKER). He was arrested and charged with possession of crystal meth, suboxone and drug paraphernalia.

So, stay safe out there, folks: you never know when you'll need a ghost arrested.

Spookily yours,
Behka
