The next time you're at a store and realize you've been waiting for a salesperson FOREVER . . . just know EVERYONE'S been there.According to a new survey by "Consumer Reports", two out of three people say they've walked out of a store because of bad customer service in the past year alone.

Two-thirds have also hung up during a customer support call because they were stuck on hold or not getting the help they needed.

But when it comes to in-store complaints, people say RUDE or pushy salespeople are actually worse than no salespeople at all.

The thing people complain about the least are long lines at the register.

On the phone, the biggest complaint by far is how hard it is to get an actual human on the phone.

The thing that gets the fewest complaints is . . . a company that has bad taste in its hold music.

And who gets complained about most?

The Consumer Federation of America just released its list of the industries that got the most customer complaints in the past year.  And believe it or not, used car dealers and lying mechanics STILL have the worst rep in the country.  Check it out.

#1.)  The Auto Industry.  That includes sales, repairs, and towing.

#2.)  Credit and debt.  That includes complaints about credit card billing and fees, mortgage fraud, predatory lending, and over-aggressive debt collectors.

#3.)  Home improvement and construction.  That includes both contractors and construction companies, generally not finishing jobs they started.

#4.)  Retail sales.  That includes things like false advertising, defective merchandise, and problems redeeming coupons and gift certificates.

#5.)  Utilities.  These are complaints and billing disputes with gas, electric, phone, cable, and Internet providers.

Have you had any bad customer service stories?  What happened?  Did it ever happen to you on the other end.... where you had a bad customer? Tell me all about it!

Customerly yours,
Behka
