A nationally known comedian, ventriloquist and entertainer will be bringing his "amazing talking dog" to the Heckart Performing Arts Center on Saturday, December 3.

"If you've ever wondered what your dog would say if he could talk, you're going to find out when you come and see me and my dog, Irving," said Oliver. "I'm a comedian and ventriloquist, been doing this a long time. We were on the showboat for 13 years in Branson. We're touring, right now, and we're looking forward to coming to Sedalia on December 3, 7 o'clock at the high school, Heckart Performing Arts Center."

Todd Oliver has appeared on multiple television shows, including The Tonight Show, Late Night With David Letterman, The Today Show, and he finished in the top 4 on America's Got Talent.

Tickets for the Sedalia performance are $15 for adults, $10 for kids, and children 5 and under are free. Tickets will be available at the door the night of the show, or can be purchased in advance online. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show.

"It's all about family-friendly fun, clean family comedy for everybody, hip and contemporary," said Oliver. "There's no bad language or anything gross, but it's not cornball, either, and it's not old-fashioned."

Oliver has been touring across the country, and was impressed by the facility at the Heckart Performing Arts Center. "We've never played Sedalia, but what a beautiful performing arts center you have."
