Last month, To All The Boys I've Loved Before star Lana Condor hinted at the possibility of a sequel, and just before Thanksgiving it was all but confirmed. On Wednesday (December 19), Condor made Christmas come early with a festive holiday clip featuring her onscreen beau (and everyone's new crush) Noah Centineo, as they officially break the news that a sequel is coming.

"It’s happening! So excited to announce #ToAllTheBoysSequel is coming soon.... let's do this," she wrote alongside the video on Instagram, tagging Centineo, Netflix, and Jenny Han, the author of the book trilogy on which the movie was based.

Netflix also broke the news in the most fitting way possible: a statement in the form of a handwritten letter.

“I miss you. I know it’s only been a few months and I swear I wasn’t trying to avoid you; I just didn’t know how to answer your question without lying to you,” the statement begins.

“The truth isn’t always simple or straightforward — and as we know all too well, dating contracts have a way of quickly getting complicated. But, the letters are out…it’s true. A To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before sequel is coming to Netflix. And yes, you can seamlessly continue to run your #Covinsky fan accounts because your dreamy stars Lana Condor and Noah Centineo are in on it too.

“So let’s do this. I promise the next chapter will be well worth the wait!" it concludes, before signing off, "Love, Netflix."

Though the release date has yet to be revealed, it's exciting to know the anticipated sequel is coming.
