The Mid-Missouri Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force says large baggies of methamphetamine, digital scales, drug paraphernalia, packaging materials, and US currency were located during the execution of a search warrant in the 4900 block of Vernon Road in Sedalia on March 12. 50-year-old Gary Lee Gaines, 41-year-old Cecil Dwight Henry and 28-year-old Randy Wayne Haynes, who authorities say was found hiding under a blanket in a closet, were all taken into custody.

On March 12, 2019 Mid-Missouri Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force and Pettis County deputies responded to the 4900 block of Vernon Road, Sedalia to serve a drug related search warrant based from an ongoing investigation. Upon arrival deputies and detectives made entry through the front door where contact was made with and three male adults were detained. One of the male adults identified as Randy Haynes was found hiding in the closet under a blanket.

During the search deputies and detectives located large baggies of methamphetamine, digital scales, paraphernalia, US currency and several plastic baggies revealing evidence of packaging materials for scales.

Subjects arrested and were later charged with the following charges. There will also be related charges pending with further ongoing investigation.

Gary Lee Gaines (50) - Trafficking 2nd (meth), Possession of drug paraphernalia (meth)

Randy Wayne Haynes (28) - Trafficking 2nd (meth), Possession of drug paraphernalia (meth), Haynes also was a fugitive from justice out of the state of Kansas.

Cecil Dwighty Henry (41) - Possession of drug paraphernalia.
