I know a lot of us out there do the 9-5 Monday through Friday routine.  Even if you don't, everyone has that "Wednesday" feeling sometime in their work week.

Sure, you may work Tuesday through Saturday, but that doesn't mean that your Thursday doesn't feel a lot like my Wednesday.  Just like how those people who work at night still have a "morning" feeling.  You may get up for work at 7 p.m., but that's the same feeling for someone who has to get up at 7 a.m.

For us here at the station, you may have the Wednesday feeling more often if you have to work Saturdays.  Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't, it depends on whether we're going on location or if there's a special event.  Either way, we all gotta work and we all get a little tired mid-week.

So, what is it that you do to stave off that feeling, that "This Week Is Never Going To End" feeling? You can't slack off on your work, you can't just call in.  Ya gotta keep on keepin' on, so to speak.

I combat it by doing something ridiculous.  Usually it's a little dance in front of  someone's office window.  Or maybe I'll sing along to our songs that we play, but in a crazy accent.

What do you do?  Do you have another cup of coffee or treat yourself to a snack?  Do you just snap at everybody and apologize later? Do you even get that feeling, or is your life a constant joy?

If it is, I'm sure I can find a way to punish you for being so incredibly, blissfully happy.

Don't get a papercut,

Behka
