The following Missouri State Highway Patrol report is from the morning of Thursday, December 10th, 2015.

There was a two-vehicle accident in Benton County on Tuesday evening (December 8) at 7:30 on MO 7, 1.1 MILES NORTH OF HWY KK. A 2005 Chevrolet driven by 56-year-old Cynthia Heckelbeck, of Warsaw, was driving southbound on Highway 7 and attempted to make a right-hand turn into a private drive. A second vehicle, a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan, driven by 71-year-old Patrick Gross, failed to yield and struck Heckelbeck's vehicle. Heckelbeck and a passenger, 18-year-old Jazmine Holbert, of Warsaw, had serious injuries and were transported to University of Missouri Medical Center by Staff For Life helicopters, while Gross suffered minor injuries and was transported to Golden Valley Medical Center by private vehicle.

There was a one-vehicle accident in Johnson County on SE HWY DD, .4 MILES EAST OF SE 751, yesterday afternoon (Dec. 9) at 2:05. 22-year-old Nina Pacheco, of Knob Noster, was driving westbound, when her vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck the ground, causing moderate damage to the 1998 Honda Civic. Pacheco suffered minor injuries and was transported to Lee's Summit Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance District.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Teri Stephenson of Windsor for three felony warrants out of Johnson County , last night (December 9). Teri was held at the Johnson County Jail.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 69-year-old Ronald Smith of Holden for felony warrant out of Johnson County, Felony unlawful possession of a firearm and paraphernalia.
