The Sedalia Animal Shelter recently posted on Facebook that they're looking for "Howl-a-day Helpers".

The Boys and Girls Club works very, very hard for the kids of Pettis County and Sedalia.  There are so many people that put their heart and soul into it every day... but the kids also give back, too.

The City of Sedalia is having a Clean Sweep on Saturday, May 31.

We all know that you never think about the Fire Department until you need them.  But there are some people who go out of their way to make sure you never have to think about it, and they volunteer their time to help keep us all safe.  The Johnson County Fire Auxiliary Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction serves as a thank you to a lot of these brave souls.
