E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt isn't solely interested in preserving rock's past, he is also deeply committed to creating future generations of musicians. last night (Oct. 16), the man known as "Little Steven" received the Big Man of the Year award from Little Kids Rock. He was presented the award by his longtime friend and musical partner, Bruce Springsteen.

Bruce Springsteen guitarist Steven Van Zandt is doing his best to reunite one of his favorite bands, the Rascals. He's launched a Kickstarter campaign to help bring a production called 'Once Upon a Dream' featuring all four members to stages around the world.

Bruce Springsteen‘s current tour is scheduled to end on Sept. 22. However, there are already whispers of more dates being added in the fall. Should the tour extend into 2013, there is a good chance that Steven Van Zandt will have to miss some of the shows.
