The City of Sedalia entered into a lease agreement with Center For Human Services on Monday night, taking over the operation of the Bloomin' Garden Greenhouse.

The Center for Human Services will sponsor the 10th annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot on November 22 in Sedalia.

The CHS honored Richard Parkhurst with its Lifetime Achievement Award. Parkhurst served on the board from 2001 and just recently stepped down.

And believe me when I say that Sedalia definitely has a charitable bent. One event that's coming up is a huge benefit for the Center for Human Services and the Children's Therapy Center.

The Children’s Therapy Center’s 8th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run/Walk  is coming up.  The Deadline is November 7th if you'd like to have a  t-shirt to remember it by.  This great cause needs you, that means you've gotta get off your hind quarters and get to walking or jogging!

Wonderful readers, we as Americans love pork.  It's our right as citizens to eat pig in all of it's different incarnations.  We deserve it.
