At 12:01 a.m. on Sept. 1, smokers will have to snuff out their cigarettes and bar owners will empty their ashtrays as Sedalia's smoking ban goes into effect. Bottom's Up is bringing stand-up comedy to Sedalia this weekend as they host the "As Yet Unnamed Comedy Roadshow" this Saturday (June 15) at 8 p.m.  This traveling group of stand-up comics have performed throughout Mid-Missouri and include comics Bill Fisher, Patrick Mahon, Nick Gorges, Justin Luke, Tom Skinner, Louis Doerflinger, Adam Boughton and Rob Harris.

Kick your Memorial Day weekend off right this Friday night with some live music! Anytime that Sedalia or the surrounding area brings in bands or any type of live music, I'm always excited to go and support it. This Friday, Bottom's Up will feature three bands: Not A Planet, Austin Knob Band, and Blake Gardener and the Farmers. Doors will open at 7 p.m. with the opening act starting at 8.
