The Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s Basic Rider Course (BRC) is a two-day basic riding session at the Sedalia campus and requires completion of an online course prior.

The cost is $249 and will be offered on scheduled Saturdays and Sundays beginning in April. Additionally, an Advanced Basic Rider Course (BRC2) will be offered on April 13 and again on Sept. 14.

The BRC offered by The LearningForce at State Fair Community College is designed for beginning or re-entry riders. The online pre-instruction prepares students for at least eleven hours of practical riding maneuvers and skills on a designated range with certified instructors. The student must take their printed pre-instruction certificate of completion to the session.
