Todd Oliver, comedian and ventriloquist, will be in Sedalia on Saturday night, along with his talking dog, Irving. Oliver was a top 4 finalist a few seasons back on America's Got Talent. The show posted several of his routines to their YouTube account. Check out some of Todd Oliver's videos ahead of Saturday night's show.

Oliver says that his appearance on the popular NBC talent competition was a boost to his career. "We were on all summer long. The viewership is huge, and people saw us on that show almost every week."

His interaction with the America's Got Talent celebrity judges was also a positive experience, according to Oliver. "They were very nice to me. I had done Howie Mandel's television show when he had a talk show in 1999 on CBS. So I knew Howie from those days. That's back when he had hair. Howard Stern was very nice to me...Sharon Osbourne, they were all very, very nice to me. I think Howard wanted me to work a little dirty, but I don't work that way. That show made me write contemporary television material, which I did, and people laughed, they had a good time. It was a great experience. It's an amazing show."

“I’m a comedian and ventriloquist, been doing this a long time. We were on the showboat for 13 years in Branson. We’re touring, right now, and we’re looking forward to coming to Sedalia on December 3, 7 o’clock at the high school, Heckart Performing Arts Center.”

Tickets for Todd Oliver's Sedalia performance are $15 for adults, $10 for kids, and children 5 and under are free. Tickets will be available at the door the night of the show, or can be purchased in advance online. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show. “It’s all about family-friendly fun, clean family comedy for everybody, hip and contemporary,” said Oliver.
