A 27-year old Sedalia woman serious injuries early Monday morning in a two-vehicle wreck in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported just before 6:00, on Highway 65 north of MO-765.

According to the online crash report, a 1993 Freightliner was slowing to change lanes in a construction zone when it was struck in the rear by a 2013 Chevrolet.

The driver of the Chevy, 27-year old Sloane E. Arnold, of Sedalia, suffered serious injuries. Arnold was taken to University Hospital, by Staff for Life, for treatment. The Chevy was totaled in the accident.

The driver of the Freightliner, 48-year old Stacey J. Curtman, of Iberia, MO, was reportedly uninjured.

The Pettis County Sheriff's Department assisted the Patrol at the scene.
