You know, kids, back in my day, people didn't shop for Christmas until after Thanksgiving.Black Friday is infamous all over the world.  And it seems like we're more likely than ever to get a Black Thursday or even Black Wednesday.  But back in my day, we shopped on Friday, we walked up hills both ways, uphill, with no shoes on, killed a bear with our loose leaf notebook, and that's how we liked it! I know that's not really the case anymore, but... I kinda want to go back to that.  My sister has told me already that she's done with her Christmas shopping, and I haven't even started. I haven't really even THOUGHT about it much.  It seems kind of sad that so many places will be open on Thanksgiving, and the people won't get to celebrate it properly because they'll be working.  But, I guess it is what it is.  There are places that won't let you get your shop on super early, though, and I've got a little list here for you.

  • Ace Hardware
  • AT&T (company-owned stores)
  • Harbor Freight Tools
  • Hobby Lobby
  • Lowe’s
  • Menards
  • PetSmart
  • Sprint (some mall retail stores and kiosks may open on Thanksgiving)
  • Staples
  • TJ Maxx
  • Tractor Supply Co.

Are you working on Thanksgiving? Do you plan on doing any early shopping on Thanksgiving?

Thankfully yours,

Behka
