Sedalia Police: Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia Found During Traffic Stop

Sedalia Police say drugs and drug paraphernalia were found after they stopped a Toyota Camry on June 10 around 11:15 a.m. at S. Marvin Ave. and Broadway Blvd. Officers say they received consent to search the vehicle. The driver, 39-year-old John Prentice Beaman III, was arrested for possession of a synthetic narcotic, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. An occupant in the vehicle, 35-year-old Deborah L. Beaman, was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia and was released.
