Sedalia Man Wins $70K in Show Me Cash Drawing

Christmas isn't quite here yet, but a Sedalia man received some early holiday cheer after winning $70,000 in the Show Me Cash drawing.

A press release from the Missouri Lottery says David Wellman, of Sedalia, purchased the winning ticket at Quick Stop, located at 1515 Thompson Blvd.

Wellman came close to not buying any tickets for the December 1 Show Me Cash drawing, but changed his mind and found himself winning the Draw Game’s $70,000 jackpot.

The winning number combination was: 8, 15, 21, 27 and 30.

Show Me Cash is a daily Draw Game with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until won.

Wellman’s winning ticket marks the 43rd Show Me Cash jackpot won in 2018 and the 536th jackpot won since sales for the Draw Game began in 2008.
