One Direction Fans Be Prepared For Road Construction Around Arrowhead Stadium
JACKSON COUNTY - An extensive bridge rehabilitation project on the Stadium Road Bridges over I-435 and I-70 is underway and will continue through the end of November. MoDOT crews are reminding One Direction fans that the construction zone will still be in place for Tuesday near sold out concert at the Truman Sports Stadium Complex.
Construction will restrict lanes on Stadium Road Bridges to one lane each direction and attendees should plan accordingly. MoDOT suggest that concert-goers and drop-offs drivers arrive early to avoid last minute arrivals. Both bridges are located at Gates 6 and 7 (Bus/RV Exit) near Arrowhead and should be avoided for a faster commute.
This is a full 24/7 lane closure but with most work to be done during daytime, work hours with occasional night work. All work is weather dependent..
