I've had my cell phone for about... four years now.  It's been a good little phone.I don't use it for much, mostly pictures or texts or whatnot. Every now and then someone might actually CALL me, which is always a surprise.  Oh, and I listen to music on it when I go to the treadmill.

But it's been slowly crapping out on me and it's annoying the bejebus out of me. Some time ago, it started doing this thing where the lower half of the touch screen just doesn't respond anymore and the forward and back thingies on the bottom don't work.  So, I found a work around (because I don't like spending money on myself, and didn't want to buy a new phone).  There's an app where you can do that, but from the side of the phone. So that was great.

Then something started happening with the battery. I would charge it up to maybe 99% and then leave it alone without having a lot running on it.  So I'd have to charge it maybe once every other day.  Now, I have to charge it every day or it dies.  And sometimes I'll go to bed at 99% and wake up with it at 12%, which is scary because it's my alarm clock.  I'm too dependent on this thing, I guess.

And then there was another app I was going to try, to link up my phone to my laptop.  And I downloaded it, but then I changed my mind.  And now it tries to launch every time I push the home screen.  I would uninstall it, but I can't find it, because it's not fully installed.  It tries to launch, and then asks me if I want to choose that "just once" or "always" and I can't choose either because the screen doesn't respond to me. So that's confusing? I guess.

So I know I need to just bite the bullet and let go.  But I am so unbelievably lazy.  I don't want to go through the process of a new phone.  Making sure all the stuff is on the card, taking stuff off the card and storing it on the phone, setting the perfect ringtone/text message alert, setting up my alarms, keeping contacts straight, blah blah blah BLAH.  I wish I could just copy and paste my stuff into a new phone and just be done with it.

But no, that's not how it works.  You have to do things the right way or not at all.  So... I'm choosing not at all for the moment. Maybe I can convince Husbando to just do it for me.  Maybe he'd take that bullet for me.

How long have you had your phone? What kind do you have? Do you like it?  Does it have any little quirks like mine does?

Tell me all about it!

Phoningly yours,

Behka
