Husbando is a complicated man.  There are many things going on in his whole situation. And lately, he's been a little more vocal about his ability to get to sleep and stay asleep.  If he does sleep, a lot of the time it's not quality sleep.  He wakes up pretty often, and has some pain during the night.

Of course, he COULD see a doctor about this, but... he's a man.  So that's not happening.  This means I have to go to the drugstore.

I did some googling to see if I could find a solution to his problems. According to the hypocrondriac inducing knowledge of Web MD, I found out about a supplement you can take called Melatonin -

Melatonin is also used for the inability to fall asleep (insomnia); delayed sleep phase syndrome (DSPS); rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder (RBD); insomnia associated with attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD); insomnia due to certain high blood pressure medications called beta-blockers; and sleep problems in children with developmental disorders including autism, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disabilities.

Well, it could work, I guess.  I mean, it seems like it's used for a lot of different things, not just sleep. So if it can help people who have different things going on, it's gotta be worth a shot, right?

Have you ever tried taking Melatonin? How did it work for you? Were there any side effects you encountered? I know I can keep Googling, but I think I'd rather hear someone's personal experience.  Inform me, please!

Sleepily yours,

Behka
