I Finally Saw The Magik Bus Up Close And It Made My Day

It's one of those things that slip by and you wonder if you really saw what you think you saw. I've seen it here and there, usually in traffic.  But I'm never really in a position to see it up close and personal - I mean, I'm not gonna pull a u-turn to get another look at it. But the other day I was on my lunch break, and there it was.

The Infamous Magik Bus.

It was everything I wanted it to be and more.  Music, cats, my favorite color of purple.

I've heard that it was specially painted for a guy to take his brother to doctor's appointments.  I mean, that's what I've heard, I don't know that as a fact. I wasn't gonna walk into the Walgreens and shout, "HEY, WHO DRIVES THE MAGIK BUS?!"

Although, who knows, maybe I should have. I guess I could've waited until the owner came out, but that would probably be creepy.  Well, now that I think about it, it probably would have been okay.  I bet they get people all the time asking questions and taking pictures of it. They're probably used to it by now.  I don't know, I guess my polite reflex kicked in, I didn't want to bother anybody.

It's just a purely amazing, sweet thing to see this van around town.  I love the Magik Bus. I think all of us have a special place in our hearts for the bus.  And if it really is about brotherhood and love, that's even better.
