Just so you know as we begin this, I am considering myself a skeptic.I don't believe in ghosts, really. There's a whole underlying thing for that, but I won't get into it. But I do like to hear the stories.

I read online that a friend of mine was super freaked out by what he called a "shadow person" in his bedroom doorway.  So of course, I had to ask, what the heck is a shadow person? He agreed to fill me in (in blog form), if I kept him anonymous.

From what I understand, a shadow person is not the same as a ghost. They lurk in doorways or hallways, and don't do anything. It's supposed to be something like an observer, or a watcher.

So I don't understand, because that sounds like a ghost to me.

It is and it isn't. Shadow people often disappear as soon as  you move or speak, which isn't always the case with a ghost.

What makes you so sure it's not just a half dream or some kind of hallucination?

Because I was staring at it for five minutes! Then I sneezed, and it was gone.

So shadow people are afraid of sneezes?

Shut it, smart aleck.

What do you think? Do you think shadow people exist?  Have you ever seen anything like it? Are you a believer or a skeptic?

Shadowily yours,
Behka
