Pettis County deputies arrested 61-year-old Ricky Joe Richwine of Green Ridge on Tuesday. He was charged with 2nd degree Trafficking, Possession with Intent to Distribute, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Possession of Paraphernalia.

According to a probable cause statement, the Mid- Missouri Drug Task Force and the Pettis County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant in the 100 block of Minnehaha in Green Ridge. The search warrant alleges that Richwine was selling methamphetamine.

Richwine was taken into custody on his front porch. Inside the residence, several weapons were located as well as drug paraphernalia. Several baggies containing a crystalized substance were located and field tested. He also had $823 in cash on him, according to the report.

Richwine was taken to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and held on a 24-hour hold.

According to the statement, Richwine's criminal history shows that he was arrested in 1999 for possession of meth and he pleaded guilty. He also pleaded guilty in 2004 for felony receiving stolen property.
