Rapper and singer Drake just busted a 54-year-old chart record previously held by the Beatles with his latest album, Scorpion.

Besting the Beatles' 1964 chart success that found five of their singles simultaneously take up residence in the Billboard Top 10, Drake's 25-track Scorpion, which was released on June 29, managed to put seven singles in the Top 10 this week.

In its eighth, but not consecutive, week at the top, "Nice for What" returned to No. 1, while "Nonstop" reached No. 2, "God's Plan" grabbed the No. 4 spot, "In My Feelings" hit No. 6, "I'm Upset" stands at No. 7, "Emotionless" took No. 8 and, with an assist from a previously unreleased vocal by the late Michael Jackson, "Don't Matter to Me" checked in at No. 9 this week.

On April 4, 1964, the Beatles took the top positions on the chart with "Can't Buy Me Love," "Twist and Shout," "She Loves You," "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and "Please Please Me." The Fab Four still remain the only act to take all top five slots in the Hot 100 in a single week.

This isn't the only chart record Drake destroyed. He broke his own record for the most tracks simultaneously reaching the Hot 100, which now stands at 27 — including every track on Scorpion. Drake has now amassed a career total of 31 singles in the Top 10, beating Jackson, whose 30th came this week with the guest appearance on Scorpion.

The album also broke another record, with more than one billion streams. With all these achievements, it's no surprise that the album debuted at No. 1 on the albums chart.
