Chips, Games and Snow Bars: Kaleb’s Snow Day

Photos have been shared, stories have been told, and even surveys have been posted about Snowpocalypse 2013.  I have viewed many of the pictures on our site and decided to share my own.

I don't have too many days where I get to lounge around all day and am allowed to be a bum, so I decided to take advantage of this situation.  My snow day started off with waking up and eating cookies and these new Lay's Potato Chips that are flavored like Chicken and Waffles. I am not a huge video game guy but I will always break out the old Sega Genesis on snow days to pass the time while the satellite is out.

After a few hours of NBA Jam, Sonic, Boogerman, Mutant League Football, NHL 94 and a bag of chips, I decided to be productive and attempt to shovel my way out of my apartment parking lot.

Shoveling an entire parking lot can be tiresome and boring. So we decided to put some adult beverages in the snow to pass the time and help pep things up a bit. Since my generation is full of ADHD kids, this proved to be one of those ADHD times, we decided to make more work and ditch the shoveling process to build a snow bar.

The snow bar was a success as you can see in the picture and needless to say my car was still stuck in the parking lot. I am glad the snow has since died off and people are able to get around now. The snow was incredibly frustrating, but when you get handed snow....make a snow bar!
