The Friends of the Boonslick Library in Sedalia will take donations of books and DVDS Jan. 2-9.  This is a great way for you to clean out your shelves of books or DVDs that the kids have grown out of, or things you may not have read or watched in years.   Items may be dropped off at Boonslick Regional Library on 219 West Third Street during regular library hours.  All items must be in good to excellent condition.  They would like fiction books, but will take some non-fiction. I got to talk to Jackie Oliphant, Janice Simpson, and Barbara Tavener from Boonslick about the donation drive and the book sale, plus some other things coming up and how you can help.

Donations will be used in the Friends of the Library book sale that will be held Jan. 10 from noon to 5:00 p.m. and Jan. 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room.  Proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase new book bins for the Children’s Department.

Help some people get some new books, and get rid of some of your own clutter!   For more information, call 660-827-7323. You can also visit their website at boonslickregionallibrary.com.

Bookily yours,
Behka
