I'm from a small town in Missouri of just under 4,000 people. Because of this, stoplights in larger towns still freak me out a little. Stereotypical female driver here. I'll forever be asking, which lane am I supposed to be in? Somehow, though, I get by. Music was always heard while I was growing up. I learned at an early age that there was a song for every mood or emotion I was feeling. As a matter of fact, I can't remember there ever being a day that I didn't hear music as a child and I still love all types genres. I fell in love with radio as soon as I produced my first ad. I love the production side of the business (putting commercials together by playing with sound effects, voices and background music). I'd always heard if you love what you do it doesn't feel like work. I didn't know that statement could be true until a studio became my workstation. “The world is full of nice people. If you can't find one, be one. “ ~ Nishan Panwar

Country Cookin’
When I was married, I always went to cookouts or dinners at the in-laws' house. It was nice to see everyone, all in one place, when busy schedules prevented us from meeting up as often as we should have. I remember how excited my husband would get and he always looked forward to the food...the food (if that's what you called it) was nothing short of unexpected the first few times I attended a gath
The Eyes
My stepfather was a great man. He'd survived a horrible childhood, came home in one piece from Vietnam, and was one of the most loving people I've met in my lifetime. We lost him a little over a year ago. At only 67, he'd been blind for about four years before his passing. Thinking about him has always made me wonder how he enjoyed any part of the latter part of his life without his eyesight. I
Driving With Distractions
Driving is a privilege and should be taken seriously. Most adults have become very comfortable with multitasking while driving – a little too comfortable. When you are not focused solely on driving, you become part of the “one million national car crashes annually”, reported on sites like Distracted Driving. The question we need answered is: what has people so preoccupied that they’re no longer c
Alarm Clocks Cause Alarm
Every evening, I tell myself I'm going to get to bed earlier and most nights it doesn't happen. Adequate sleep is a rarity for a lot of Americans. We tend to put things off until it's later than it should be, things come up, or some of us have so much going on that we just can't keep up with daily tasks. This is life. We set the alarm and wake each morning more tired than the last, but could that
