Animal Rescue of the Week: Welcome home KC (Kasey)!!

This week's story comes from eastern Missouri in the little town of Vandalia. My fiance's family resides in this rural area outside of Columbia. I was absolutely tickled pink when Travis' sister-in-law, Natalie, sent me a picture of her family's newest edition: KC.

KC was found in a dumpster eating whatever food he could find. His hair was shaven close to his skin which made it very hard for him to stay warm, and his body was covered in fleas. Luckily, KC was found by a kind stranger and taken to a local groomer who cleaned him  up, then taken to the Audrain County Shelter. Natalie found out about him and couldn't help but fall in love! She sent her husband, Luke to pick up KC and bring him to his new forever home. **TEARS**

Natalie said that KC stared at Luke for the first mile or so! He was so happy to have found a home!! 

Pictured above is Gage welcoming KC to the family and their youngest, Zoe being covered in kisses!

Natalie said that "Gage was near tears when they brought KC home, and Zoe did a lot of squealing covering her mouth with her hands."

Seems like KC will have a great life!! Thank you Gibson Family for adopting from your local animal shelter!!
