The winter is approaching us, and anyone from the Midwest knows that the winters here can be pretty brutal. You wouldn't want to have to try and survive the harsh conditions, so why should any helpless animals?

:::DISCLOSURE::: PLEASE READ:::

FERAL cats are cats that have been raised in the wild. The best thing to do for these animals is CATCH THEM, take them to your vet to be FIXED, then RELEASE THEM back where you found them. This will help with the population problem. The difference between an abandon cat and a feral is their behavior. Abandoned cats will approach you and being generally will be nice. Ferals will not come near you only because they have not been socialized to humans, but they still need warmth and food to survive like a domestic house cat, otherwise they start to harm the bird populations. The best thing is to TNR and provide for them.

If you find an ABANDONED CAT, please take them in. Or find a new home. NOT A SHELTER.
