19-Year-Old Sedalia Woman Arrested Following Disturbance

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the area of Bothwell Regional Health Center for a disturbance around 10:30 p.m. on June 23.

Dispatch advised officers that a truck was chasing a car, and that the car had struck a tree. Officers made contact with the drivers of both vehicles near E. 13th St. and S. Lafayette Ave. The driver of the car, 19-year-old Taylor McIntyre, was arrested for a city charge of operating a motor vehicle without a license and for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Police say McIntyre refused to comply with officers at the jail and she was placed into a WRAP device. She was then taken to the hospital for a fit for confinement evaluation, and eventually returned to the jail. Police say an additional city charge of failure to obey is also being sought.
